Going Green in the Yard

Just sold our gas guzzling, non eco-friendly riding lawn mower and replaced it with a manual rotary blade mower. No gas, no electricity, just good old fashioned human energy.

Mowed about 2 acres (some breaks and lots of water), took a little longer to get the yard in good shape but it looks great with nice, even lines. No noise or fumes or quick trips to the gas station. Yay.

It is light, turns easily, very cheap, and great exercise.

Every day we are trying to make greener choices.

Are you reducing your carbon footprint?
Well friends, it has been a long couple of months trying to get this business off the ground but we are now open. Who knew it would take so much work and time. Thanks to everyone that is helping and supporting us.

For those of you who don't yet know us- We are Bamboomerangs Following the One for One movement. We love Bamboo and Bamboo clothing. For every shirt purchased, we donate one to someone in need.

We are starting locally first, so the House of Mercy Homeless Shelter in Janesville, WI will receive the first donations.
