Following the One for One Movement

During the start-up of Bamboomerangs, we were inspired by Blake of Tom's Shoes. He gives One for One also. What a wonderful idea to use the purchasing power of individuals to help give back. We founded our business on this idea and see it slowing taking off. A unique concept, to give one away for every one that is sold. For Bamboomerangs it is a win-win situation. The consumer gets great eco friendly bamboo clothing and in turn, they get to help people less fortunate, all with one purchase.

We continue to live more green, purchase eco friendly products, make positive impacts on people and our environment, and try to minimize our carbon footprint.

If more companies would follow this business model, the world would be a better place.

Catch On!

Have a Green 4th of July

Independence Day!

Show you care about our Country and Planet by making this 4th of July Green.

Stay Safe and Have Fun

  • Having a cookout? Turn the AC off while guests are outside.
  • Have guests bring their own glasses. It will reduce clean-up and garbage
  • Pass on the plastic and use bio-degradable dinnerware. There are lots of eco-friendly products on the market. Some even made from Bamboo.
  • Carpool or walk to the fireworks display and let your city know that you support the use of bio-degradable fireworks.
  • Recycle- aluminum cans, soda bottles, cardboard, aluminum foil.
  • Buy local grown produce- makes a healthy meal and supports local farmers. Remember to compost scraps and reduce items in our landfills.
  • Green-grill by using natural gas or natural charcoal products
  • Decorate with flowers, live plants, candles and solar lights
  • Clean up with eco friendly cleaning products

Going Green in the Yard

Just sold our gas guzzling, non eco-friendly riding lawn mower and replaced it with a manual rotary blade mower. No gas, no electricity, just good old fashioned human energy.

Mowed about 2 acres (some breaks and lots of water), took a little longer to get the yard in good shape but it looks great with nice, even lines. No noise or fumes or quick trips to the gas station. Yay.

It is light, turns easily, very cheap, and great exercise.

Every day we are trying to make greener choices.
